Welcome to Far Out Friday. This is where we and our vinyl friends show off the extremely far out albums in our collection.
That being said, without further ado, here is my bold selection today.

Why is this random garage band/psychedelic rock group from the 1960s so far out? Other than the fact they played on the same billings as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors.
1. Let's start with the lead singer, Clff De Young.
De Young played the father in my favorite 80s Disney movie, Flight of the Navigator. He would join the group as the original lead vocalist, Barry McGuire (Eve of Destruction), departed to work on his own career.
2. Clear Light in totally 1960s psychedelic rock fashion named their group after a potent form of LSD.
3. Dallas Taylor the drummer went on to be a member of Crosby, Stills and Nash.

So now that you know some random facts about this relatively obscure band, go check them out!!

Boy, does this one ever fall smack dab in the middle of my musical bailiwick. Love it! Don't know how I've never heard of it. Thanks.
