You all know the great guitarists, but let me introduce you to one you may not have heard of, Robert Cray. Cray is one of those blues guitarists that may not rival Stevie Ray Vaughn, but he should be on your radar.
Cray is known for his appearances on Eric Clapton's, Crossroads tour, but did you know that he had an uncredited role in National Lampoon's, Animal House? He was the bassist for the band, Otis Day and the Knights.
He's played with countless legends, Keith Richards, John Lee Hooker, and BB King, to name a few.
As someone who appreciates a good guitarist, I urge you to give him a listen. If you do, let me know your thoughts on him.

I am a huge fan of Robert Cray, courtesy of my dad. I own several of his records (and the ones I haven't yet managed to buy are on my wantlist). My favourite is False Accusations, but they are all great. I'd love to see him live someday.
I consider his album Strong Persuader to be one of the great albums of the 1980s. His guitar work is stellar and the songs are timeless. Thanks for this reminder of his greatness!
