Today's #FarOutFridayVinyl is a good one.
You're probably thinking Joe this not very special as everyone knows, The Grass Roots. Well, let's dig in.
A member of, The Grass Roots, is none other than William Charles Schneider. We know him as Creed Bratton though.
Creed Bratton you say? Yep, I do. We all know and love his character on the hit show, The Office.
Prior to 1966, Bratton was a traveling musician who explored the world while performing. After he retuned the band listened to his demo tape and asked him to be a part of it.
Things went well for awhile until Dunhill refused to let the band write their own music or even play their instruments in the studio sessions. Fed up with this, Bratton, left the band in 1969.
Have a far out Friday, and enjoy The Office even more now that you've made the connection. Also, it's a good trivia question to wow your friends or people at the bar.
