It's Friday and that means only one thing..
A Grateful Dead live show.
This show is part of the three most epic days of Grateful Dead live shows. It just so happens this one was at the Boston Garden, which is the same place I saw the Celtics, Bruins, and the circus.
As someone who follows the Dead and enjoys their music, I must say that this show is right behind Buffalo in terms of their best live show. Yep, even better than Cornell and probably equal to Pembroke Pines.
Why do you ask?
The setlist is pure magic. It opens up with Bertha, Cassidy and Deal. That's one hell of a way to get things going. They also include my personal favorite rendition of Terrapin Station. But that's not all, Friend of the Devil and Estimated Prophet? Oh heck yea!! 10 minutes and 43 seconds of The Wheel? I could go on and on but the setlist is legendary.
Now let's talk about the chemistry and energy. The band's chemistry for this show is top notch. The band just melds together and absolutely feeds off each person's energy and talents on their respective instruments. Second to none I'd say.
